* Regal Theatres: Head over to the Regal Theatres Facebook page, “like†them, and you can snag a coupon for $2 Dibs valid on October 1st.



* Crayola Dream-Makers Contest: Through December 1st, students in grades K-12 can create a piece of art and develop a written statement representing their interpretation and reflections on the theme, “Speak up for Creativity.†Finalists will be honored by having their original artwork framed, donated to, and exhibited at regional and/or national office of the Department of Education. Each Finalist will receive a plaque with a replica of the original artwork. Click here for more information.



* Home Depot Kids Workshop: Saturday from 9AM-Noon, kids ages 5-12 can build a Fireboat. In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin. Click here for more information.



* Lakeshore Learning Center: Saturday from 11AM-3PM, kids can make a Cool Cat.



* Walmart: Check out the Walmart Event Finder (enter your zip code to see what is going on in your area). My Walmart here in North Carolina will be hosting a Jimmy Dean and Jimmy D’s Sampling Event and a General Mills Meal Solution Sampling Event.



* Bank of America Museums on Us Program: October 1st and 2nd, Bank of America cardholders get FREE admission to over 100 museums nationwide!



* Borders: Special Kids Event on Saturday at 11AM for kids ages 4-7…Come celebrate the release of Olivia goes to Venice with storytime, games and more.



* Toys R Us: Saturday from 12PM-2PM, you’re invited to visit your local Toys R Us store to play with Fisher-Price’s newest remote controlled friend – Bigfoot! Kids can check out this preschool toy to see him stomp, throw tantrums, exercise, somersault, nap and more, as well as to participate in coloring activities. * Pottery Barn Kids: Halloween Fashion Show at 2PM where kids can show off their costumes and can participate in contests, face paintings and a Halloween parade.




* AC Moore: Saturday from 1PM-3PM, you can make a McGill Paper Blossom Make & Take.
