Answer: Ink System

I bought the system august of 2009. It comes full of ink but i had to order more ink december 31, 2009. I print A LOT since im a student and i also print a lot of coupons. hahaha i have yet to buy another set of ink refill..still got a full ink system.. its been like 6 months..i think i gotta buy soon, like 1-2 months from now. i used to spend hundreds of dollars on epson ink, its a necessity you know..

here's my printer if you are curious- (scanner, copier and printer), bought it for $100 plus tax at bestbuy.

and i recommend buying from print4ever, the quality of the ink is good. they have quite a large selection of ink systems for different printers. i had minor problems like cartridge not recognized and ink lines but there are easy remedies for this, instructions included with the ink system.. and they replace defective ink systems.

you only have to buy the ink system once and the ink refill lasts monthsssssssssss

Toph, you realize if you take them into costco (or maybe any place with a photo processing area) you can refill your ink for 7-10 bucks depending on your ink? I would check it out, because its pretty cheap.

I know, I read your post, or else I wouldn't have mentioned it

What I'm saying is that it is probably cheaper to have someone like costco do it. They buy things in such bulk that they can make it affordable. Just saying, you should double check it because it seems like you are wasting your money by putting all of this effort into it, and shipping, etc. Because like I mentioned, having a photo place do it is dirt cheap.

I know you have done a cost analysis before, maybe this would be worth doing a cost analysis for as well
