tell me about it we dont get it either but when we lived in TX OMG you didnt want to go near the malls on this weekend it was like black friday! thank god my baby was a baby and I didnt have to buy school clothes

I still live in Texas and I don't go shopping on tax-free weekends! Besides all of the crowds, most the items are already picked over since our tax-free weekend isn't until the last weekend in August.
I did read something about a couple of states canceling tax-free weekends this year.
"This year, Georgia canceled its tax holiday. Washington, D.C., is forgoing a tax break for the second year in a row. Still, more than a third of states have a sales tax holiday this year."
