:wiggle: Yay, got this email!
Thank you so much for joining the FoodFun Mom Squad!
We’re gathering moms throughout the world to help make a difference in the lives of children by teaching them about healthy eating and living. At FoodFun, we’re all about having fun and we use this as a key tool to help change kids’ relationships with healthy foods.
As a part of our Mom Squad, you will help us in achieving our goals of fighting the childhood obesity epidemic one home, one school, one community at a time.
So what does our new relationship really mean? We want to hear what you have to say, learn from your experiences and get your feedback. Not just about our games but about the health and nutrition of your family. We want you to be our Mom Squad out on the streets (and in the playgrounds) spreading the word about our mission and your own healthy experiences to start to make a change. We’ll provide you with activity ideas that can be carried out at home, in school, at parties and other places your kids love to play.
You can expect to hear from us about once a month,
And what do you get in return?
Healthier children. Healthier schools. Healthier communities. And the amazing feeling that you helped make a difference.
Plus, we’ve created a reward system that lets you earn points for every task completed. Every time, you reach the 100 point mark, we’ll send our games to you to keep for your family or donate to the local school of your choice.
So ladies, now that you know more about us, it’s time for your first task.
We want to hear about your experiences when grocery shopping with kids in tow. How do you make it through this sometimes challenging task? What do you stock your purse with to keep them occupied? Or have you created some sort of in-store activity to keep them entertained?
We’re looking for a few sentences on how you make the trip manageable and promote healthy eating to your kids and make this time together a fun experience.
(You might be wondering why we’re asking this specific question. Like many more questions to come, each one is carefully crafted based on our mission to change kids’ relationships with food, and the impact it has on you, the parent. We have many exciting new projects in the works and these questions are relevant to their development.)
